Interested club members should contact   competition@kcbiermeisters.org NOW to start volunteering. 

You'll want to be a part of this one - we love taking care of our volunteers and have been amassing a metric ton of prizes. We will even have separate prizes for each BOS: beer, mead and cider! Entries are due Jan 27 @ 5:00 PM. Entries are limited to 600 again this year.

We have some exciting things slated for this year:

  • Two (2!) commercial scale ups at two breweries 
    • Crane Brewing!
      • Styles still TBD by Crane Brewing, check back soon for more info
    • KC Bier Co, scaling up a German bier to 15BBL
      • Styles considered: Kolsch, Schwarzbier, Rauchbier, Dunkelweizen, Imperial Pilsner, Pilsner, Sticke Alt, Festbier, Maibock, Hefeweizen, Munich Dunkel, Munich Helles, Weizenbock, & Dopplebock

  • Banquet will be put together by Greg Macaleer, who gave us quite a tasty treat last year

    • Discounted banquet tickets for volunteers that travel >100 miles. Check the competition website later for more information and ticket purchasing.

  • We are a stop on the High Plains and Midwest Homebrewer of the Year circuits

 Volunteers will be provided with free meals for all sessions - that’s how much we love ya! We will also have lots of great homebrew and commercial beer on tap during the Friday & Saturday sessions. We hope to see you there.

Competition Details

Awards for 2015 BCJP recognized categories of beer, mead, and cider
The entry fee is  $8 per entry
TWO (2) 12oz brown or green crown capped bottles.
